Project Duration:
October 2023 - June 2024
The Task:
Create an online resource bank for Romance Language and Culture instructors to access and utilize. The website should include in-class activities and lesson plans, homework documents, gender-diverse pronoun charts, and additional materials
Welcome Page
The welcome/home page serves as the "home-base" for teachers using the site. I thought it would be practical to provide a short blurb about the site's intended use purposes.

Sorted Menu on Home Page
As the user scrolls down, they encounter a menu with buttons for each course level sorted by language. These options are also available at the main menu at the top of the page.

Course Level Pages
Each course level page contains an activities section as well as a section for additional materials. These can include videos, readings, or course guides that can be used in class as well as outside of class.

About Us Page
The About Us page offers a short description of the mission of our team. As the user scrolls down they can see pictures and short paragraphs about why this project is important to each member of our team.

Pronoun Chart Page

This page displays gender-inclusive pronoun charts for each of the romance languages provided by professors in the respective departments. Users can utilize the top menu to navigate to different charts on the page.
Conclusion
This project involved regular meetings with multiple language professors, constant iteration based on feedback, and consistent updates of resources provided by professors. This project was very rewarding for me, and allowed me to truly understand the barriers that non-binary and gender-fluid folks encounter in romance language education.
